This year, Porthmuer CIC is working to make sure every child in our community has the chance to meet Santa.

Charlestown Harbour's Grotto will run as a paid event over two festive weekends - but on Monday 22nd December, we’re adding an extra free day 🎅 especially for children and families who might not otherwise be able to come along.

We’ll be working with local charities and community groups to invite around 60 children for a visit with Santa and his elf, and each child will receive a small, eco-friendly gift 🎁 to take home.

Your donation will help cover:

🎅 Santa and his helper for the day

🎁 Ethically sourced, sustainable toys and books for each child

✨ Simple festive decorations and wrapping

Our fundraising target is £600, which will allow us to make this day possible without passing on any cost to families.

Porthmuer CIC is a new community interest company based in Cornwall, created to support inclusive, creative, and sustainable local projects. This Santa’s Grotto appeal is our first community initiative, and we’d love your help to bring it to life.
